The draw has been made for the West Ham United eSports Cup powered by Basset & Gold Grand Finals, to be played at London Stadium on Sunday.

Sixteen of the UK’s best FIFA 19 players have qualified for the prestigious finals, where they will battle it out for a £25,000 prize pool – including a cool £10,000 for the overall winner.

Eight PlayStation 4 and eight Xbox players made it through online qualifiers to earn their place at London Stadium, with the action set to get underway at 10am.

The draw has pitted the players together in the following groups:

PlayStation 4

Group 1: Danny Taylor, Zimmmeghj, ReeZub, JStewart97
Group 2: DamieHulk, ElTenTwelve, Rustemi92, EdiGaribovic

Xbox

Group 3: Roma Rannerz, Epsilon Keyyys, XL Painter, JR7
Group 4: Lyrics vs Luck, Hashtag Shawrey, LOSC Crafty, BlatantCorn63

The winners of each group will qualify for the semi-finals, with the victor on each console going on to play each other in a two legged-final with one game played on PS4 and the other on Xbox.

The tournament will be hosted by YouTube star and Hammers fan Spencer Owen, while a special appearance will also be made by West Ham legends Carlton Cole, Marlon Harewood, Jack Collison and Hayden Mullins, who will face off in an exhibition game of No Rules FIFA.

The West Ham eSports Cup powered by Basset & Gold is the club’s first ever eSports tournament open to the public, and with more than 1,000 players now whittled down to the final 16, it promises to be a day of thrilling action.
