Schoolchildren from across east London and Essex descended on the London Marathon Community Track at London Stadium for the finals day of the Lycamobile Cup on Tuesday.

After qualifying from preliminary rounds throughout the 2017/18 season, the finalists battled it out in the shadow of the Hammers' home in U12s and U14s tournaments.

Under the gaze of Hammers first teamers Michail Antonio, Sam Byram and Josh Cullen, along with Academy stars Marcus Browne, Dan Kemp and Grady Giangana, St Edwards triumphed in the U12s category, while Heathcote took the U14s honours.
