Manuel Pellegrini's first game in charge of West Ham United saw the Irons take on FC Winterthur in Switzerland.
The Irons were unable to claim the win in the pre-season contest, losing the match 3-2, with goals from Andy Carroll and Mark Noble.
Pellegrini opted to play two different XIs in each half, giving 22 players a valuable 45 minutes of football on Sunday.
