Highlights: West Ham United 2-1 West Bromwich Albion


Andy Carroll's first two goals of the season saw West Ham United come from behind to beat West Bromwich Albion 2-1 in dramatic fashion.

A 30th minute deflected strike by James McClean gave West Brom and former Hammers manager Alan Pardew the lead at half-time, but Carroll’s well-placed header levelled the match around the hour mark.

Both sides had opportunities to add to their respective goal tallies. Manuel Lanzini and Marko Arnautovic came close for the Irons while Salomon Rondson wasn’t far off a chipped effort.

But the scoreline remained 1-1 until the dying moments of the game when Carroll swept home his second from a narrow angle
