A message to supporters from West Ham Joint-Chairman David Sullivan

West Ham United Joint Chairman David Sullivan has addressed the Club’s supporters in an exclusive interview with West Ham TV.

Following the close of the January transfer window and a difficult recent period for the Club, the lifelong Hammers fan speaks candidly and honestly about issues raised by the fans, the ongoing commitment to making improvements at London Stadium and his hope that David Moyes remains the man to lead West Ham forward.

He also reveals that the Club will be carrying out a complete restructuring of its player recruitment and scouting system this summer, and urges supporters to give the team their full backing during matches between now and the end of the season.

Mr Sullivan says: “I want to speak directly to our supporters and say how important it is that we all pull together during these times. We haven’t had the success we would like. We accept there have been failures.

“I know the fans are not happy and that makes me unhappy. We want more ups than downs. The supporters want more ups than downs. And we’ve had a few too many downs and not enough ups. We know we’ve got to do better. And we’re trying to find a set-up that, long-term, will deliver better.”
