Team news: Lucas Perez starts after starring in Cardiff win

Lucas Perez

Lucas Perez starts for the Hammers against Crystal Palace this afternoon after starring from the bench with two goals in Tuesday’s win against Cardiff City.

The Spanish striker comes in for Marko Arnautovic, who suffered a muscle injury in the victory against the Bluebirds and is set to miss a month of action.

Pablo Zabaleta and Fabian Balbuena return to Manuel Pellegrini’s back four after sitting on the substitutes’ bench in midweek, coming on for Michael Antonio and Angelo Ogbonna respectively.

Mark Noble captains the Hammers alongside Declan Rice in central midfield, while Felipe Anderson will be looking to continue his hot streak of form which has seen him net four goals in his last five matches.

Aaron Cresswell is among the substitutes after recovering from the minor injury he picked up at Newcastle a week ago.
