Women's documentary set to air today!

Britain's Youngest Football Boss

The chance to take a never-before-seen look at the West Ham United women’s team comes to screens today as the first episode of ‘Britain’s Youngest Football Boss’ airs on BBC Three.

The documentary follows the West Ham United women’s team, managing director Jack Sullivan and head coach Matt Beard as the side look to navigate through a first season in the FA Women’s Super League.

Featuring a behind-the-scenes look at the day-to-day life of the women’s team, coaches, backroom staff and management, ‘Britain’s Youngest Football Boss’ tells the story of what it takes to become a professional female footballer and the challenges the players face throughout the 2018/19 season.

Episode one takes a look at the journey the team underwent during an ambitious summer of building ahead of a first season in the newly restructured Women’s Super League, with West Ham United bringing in head coach Beard, his coaching team, and signing 18 women’s players to professional contracts.

The first episode of this fly-on-the-wall series is now available online to watch on BBC iPlayer and BBC Three!
