Honouring our history

West Ham United’s illustrious history is being honoured in many different ways in and around London Stadium.

On the approach to the Hammers’ home, heritage pennants will feature 15 classic moments in West Ham history, as voted for by the Claret and Blue Army.

Outside the Stadium, Champions Place is an installation of hundreds of stones featuring the names of supporters, players and managers, past and present.

Inside, heritage displays on the concourses cover a wide variety of Claret and Blue themes voted for by supporters. These include Managers, Captains, Overseas Stars, The Academy of Football, Record Breakers, The Crest, Classic Shirts, Hammers in Europe, FA Cup, War-Time Hammers, Bobby Moore and Thames Ironworks FC, while a new display celebrating the 50 Greatest Hammers will be in place for the new home game against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday 1 September.
