Felipe Anderson insists West Ham United are not going to allow one defeat to knock them off course.
The Hammers were beaten 4-0 at Liverpool in their opening Premier League fixture under new manager Manuel Pellegrini, with Brazilian Felipe Anderson among six debutants at Anfield.
With that in mind, the former Lazio star says he and his new teammates will stick to their principles and continue to work on the training pitch to find a formula that produces ‘beautiful football’.
We have very good expectations for the season, this team wants to play beautiful football

“We knew that the [Liverpool] match was going to be very hard, as their attack is really fast and they score a lot of goals,” the No8 explained ahead of his home debut against AFC Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon. “We prepared for the match well, but this is a very new team and we still have a way to go to get to our best form.
“We have very good expectations for the season, this team wants to play beautiful football and, with a bit more time, all the new signings are going to adapt. The club made a big investment and now what we need to do is to work to make things go well.
“I always wanted to play in the Premier League. It’s a league in which teams like to have the ball and are constantly attacking and thank God now I have the chance to be here, so I’m working hard to adapt as quickly as possible and give my best effort.”
