Xande Silva's debut hat-trick completed the perfect opening day for West Ham United's U23s in Premier League 2 on Monday night as they secured a 3-1 win over London rivals Tottenham Hotspur.
The hosts Spurs took a first half lead through Samuel Shashoua but summer signing Xande Silva equalised with minutes left remaining in the first half.
And the Portuguese came out raring to go in the second, bagging another two before the 50 minute mark to give the opening fixture points to the Hammers.
