Sixteen-year-old Junior Rene seized his chance to shine at the recent Premier League Kicks Tournament.
Representing the West Ham United Foundation, Junior was named Player of the Tournament as the Hammers took top honours – and received his trophy from Everton winger Yannick Bolasie.
The Premier League Kicks scheme engages youngsters in high-need areas with constructive activities, including sports and education.
Junior’s mother passed away when he was young and after some tough years, the Foundation is helping giving him a focus.
