West Ham United Foundation have now launched their Performance Squad for the 2017/18 season.
The Foundation Performance Squad has been created with the aim of bridging the gap between grassroots and academy level football through a high-quality bespoke coaching programme coupled with showcase fixtures against professional academies.
Each Performance Squad member will receive specialised training sessions, twice weekly, across the duration of a 30-week programme. Training will take place on Monday & Wednesday evenings from 5:30pm to 7:00pm across the season at Woodlands School (Woodlands Approach, Basildon, SS16 5BA).
Performance Squad members will also be offered the following incentives during the 17/18 season:
- A dedicated, age group specific team coach for the season
- A minimum of four showcase fixtures vs. local professional academies/pre-academies/development squads
- Full Foundation Performance Squad match/training kit [TBC]
- A minimum of two masterclass skill workshops
- 50% discount on selected WHUF Soccer School programmes

For a limited time, full season package (membership, block 1, 2 & 3) can be purchased for a discounted price of just £300. A scholarship scheme is available for each age group.
A scholarship scheme is also available with one player per squad being selected for meeting relevant criteria, more information to be announced soon.
