The West Ham United Foundation's innovative Development Centres are delivered in positive learning environments for players in game related practices, involving individual - group - team challenges to encourage them to improve their technique, individuality, communication skills, physicality, decision making and game related tactics.
Players who show excellent football ability and attitude throughout the programme will be invited to attend the West Ham United Foundation Elite Talent ID Centre.
Free trials for the West Ham United Foundation’s Elite and Football Development Centres will be happening on 14 September. Both ten-week Development programmes will begin week commencing 18 September, with the trials being used to ensure that children are allocated to the most appropriate level of our Elite Player Pathway to aid their development in the best learning environment for them.
Players will be signposted following the trials to either West Ham United's Foundation’s Football Development Centres or our Elite Development Centres at Beckton Training Ground or Woodlands School, Basildon. Our Academy integration officer Jim Hampsheir will also be in attendance to advise if any players should be invited to West Ham United’s Pre-Academy held at the Famous Chadwell Heath site.
