Today's press coverage of West Ham United concentrates on the Club's summer potential transfer activity, with the consensus being that the Hammers will seek to bring in up to four 'quality' signings to strengthen the team.

Commuter free sheet Metro claim a loan move for Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi could still be on this summer, with Blues boss Antonio Conte believed be happy to let the Belgian go out temporarily.

A less talked-about story appears in the Daily Mail, who say West Ham are keen on Lincoln City defender Sean Raggett, who impressed as the Red Imps won promotion to the Football League and reached the FA Cup quarter-finals this season. The 23-year-old is also reportedly being monitored by West Bromwich Albion.

The same paper, the Daily Mail, reviews the Hammers’ season and stresses the importance of positive recruitment this summer.

A potential move for Manchester City's Argentina defender Pablo Zabaleta is still in the news, with the Mirror and Evening Standard both speculating that he could soon join the Hammers. Zabaleta's City teammate Kelechi Iheanacho is also mentioned by name in the former.

Long-time linked former West Ham striker Jermain Defoe is believed to be close to joining AFC Bournemouth on a free transfer, however, according to the Mirror and Daily Telegraph.
