Today's newspaper reports include rumours on a couple of strikers...

One name which has been linked with the Hammers for over a year is that of Belgian striker Michy Batshuayi.  The 23-year-old joined Chelsea from Marseille last summer, and although he has struggled for starts with the Blues, has scored in their last two games.

The Daily Star are reporting that West Ham remain interested in his signature this summer, and a loan with a view to a permanent move is mooted in this rumour piece.

Meanwhile, former Hammer Jermain Defoe could be heading back to another of his old clubs this summer, with The Times saying Bournemouth are favourites to land him from relegated Sunderland.

Finally, Sky Sports take quotes from Manuel Lanzini's whufc.com interview yesterday, where he makes clear his happiness in east London.

He said: "The season was good for me on a personal level. For now, I am thinking of the next game then thinking of having good holidays with the family. I am very happy here. "Next year, if we work hard, we will get a better result."
