Our daily look at the West Ham United stories making the news...

It was a good news day for the Hammers on Thursday, with the story breaking that Michail Antonio had signed a new long-term contract with the Club.

The story made plenty of column inches, with BBC Sport picking up the quotes Michail gave to whufc.com.

He said: "I've loved my time here and I'm happy we have managed to get things sorted.

"This year has been a better year than last year because I've played from start to finish and I managed to get the England call-up I've been dreaming of since I was a child. Now it's a case of pushing on and I don't want to drop my standards next season."

There was also a lighthearted approach to the story, with the Mirror picking up on Michail's Instagram post, where he referenced Leonardo Di Caprio's character in The Wolf of Wall Street to announce the news.

In other news, the Evening Standard say the Hammers will face stiff competition for the signature of Manchester City full-back Pablo Zabaleta in the summer.

The same paper report that Mark Noble will miss the final two games of the season after undergoing surgery to repair an abdominal injury.
