West Ham United great George Parris could not stop smiling after watching his Hammers score a dramatic 1-0 Premier League victory over Tottenham Hotspur.
More than three decades after helping West Ham to finish a record-high of third in the old First Division, the versatile former defender and midfielder was at London Stadium to watch his old side scored a deserved win over title-chasing Spurs.
Parris told West Ham TV he was hugely impressed with the performance put in by Slaven Bilic's side, and in particular that of match-winner Manuel Lanzini, whose second-half goal ruined the night for fellow Argentinian Mauricio Pochettino.
