Our daily look at the Hammers stories making the news includes another name said to be on our wishlist...
Another day, another name the newspapers say the Hammers are interested in bringing to London Stadium.
Today's report comes from the Daily Star and links Gerard Deulofeu with the Club.
The Everton winger is currently on a season-long loan at AC Milan, who are expected to provide competition for his signature on a permanent basis.
Meanwhile, Sofiane Feghouli has been discussing his first season in east London, saying he has had to deal with a radical change in footballing style since his move from Valencia in the summer.
The Algeria wideman appears to be adapting with two goals at London Stadium since the turn of the year, and he said in this Daily Mail piece: “It's been a radical change in footballing terms. In Spain, the game is more about possession, technique and strategy, whereas football here is more direct.”
Finally, Jose Fonte is away on international duty with Portugal at the moment, but is determined to help the Hammers get it right on the pitch when he returns.
In the Evening Standard he said: "We had the chances to win on Saturday but it didn’t happen for us. We tried in the second half with everything we could throw at them, everything we could. We had two or three great chances to equalise and win, but we didn’t manage to do it.
"We showed character to try everything and not give up. Now it’s about getting back to basics; good defending, clean sheets first. We can create chances. We’re very disappointed and very sad, but we want to pick ourselves back up.”
