- West Ham United Ladies to face Tottenham Hotspur Ladies at White Hart Lane on Wednesday 19 April
- Historic FA Women's Premier League South will be first Ladies fixture to be held at north London stadium
- Hammers hosted Spurs at Boleyn Ground in March 2016
West Ham United Ladies will grace White Hart Lane when they take on Tottenham Hotspur Ladies in the FA Women's Premier League South.
The historic fixture will be the first occasion on which Spurs’ women’s side have played at the 118-year-old home of the north London club, which is currently in the process of being redeveloped.
The match will take place on Wednesday 19 April, with kick-off at 7pm, and reciprocates the Ladies’ memorable 1-0 victory over Tottenham at the Boleyn Ground in March 2016.
Karen Ray started that game before hanging up her boots and taking on the role of first-team coach after the Ladies were officially brought into the West Ham family in October last year.
Working alongside manager Greg De Carnys and assistant Josh Ewens, Ray has helped the Hammers put together their current three-match unbeaten run to boost hopes of avoiding relegation.
“This is a great opportunity for the Ladies to play on the big stage, a stage that they thoroughly deserve after a season of transition,” said Ray, who is also the West Ham United Foundation’s Women & Girls Manager.
“Playing at White Hart Lane is going to be a fantastic honour and I have no doubt the players will rise to the occasion. We can really showcase the development we have made over the season and ultimately where we want to go.”
“After playing Tottenham at the Boleyn last year we are grateful for the return gesture and it will be an amazing occasion to solidify all the hard work that goes into the women’s game.”

West Ham will need to be at their very best to beat their hosts next month, as Tottenham have lost just once in 28 matches in all competitions this season – a 10-0 FA Women’s Cup defeat by Super League side Arsenal suffered on Sunday 19 March.
Spurs are currently top of the FA Women's Premier League South with games in hand and have reached three cup finals for the second-successive season. All three finals are against Charlton - the League Cup, Boux Avenue (Ryman) Cup and Capital Cup.
The West Stand Lower at White Hart Lane will be opened for this historic fixture, with tickets priced at £5 for Adults and £1 for Over-65s and Under-16s.
