West Ham United will face Chelsea at Little Heath on Friday, as they begin their Division One campaign of U18 Premier League Phase Two.
After Fulham’s inability to beat Norwich City last Saturday, the Hammers knew that a place in the top four of the South Division was secure.
They were drawn in Division One with fellow Southern sides Chelsea, Arsenal and Reading and the top four Northern sides – Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool and Blackburn Rovers.
As mentioned, the young Hammers will begin on Friday 10 March against the Blues, in a repeat of their final fixture in the South Division two weeks ago.
Steve Potts’s players will then travel to Reading the following weekend, looking to avenge their 3-0 defeat to the Royals back in November.
They then travel to Liverpool at the beginning of April, before returning to Little Heath to host Blackburn Rovers.
The league takes a weekend break for Easter before resuming on the 22nd April, where the Hammers travel to Manchester United.
They then host North Division Champions Manchester City, who have only been beaten once all season, before returning for a final day fixture at London Colney against Arsenal
