Highlights - West Ham United PL2 2-2 Leicester City

West Ham United PL2 2-2 Leicester City

FT: The referee ends things in Dagenham and it's a well-earned point for the Hammers in Group E. They dominated periods of that second half and had they equalised earlier, it could have been even better. They return to the Chigwell Construction Stadium on Monday to face Nottingham Forest in the same competition and, hopefully, strengthen their position further to qualify for the knockout stages. 2-2 here - rejoin us on Monday for more U23 action!

90: Sub for Leicester - Ndukwu comes off for Wood.

86: GOOOOOALLLLL! It's Nathan Holland's first for the Club! They've deserved that. The winger cuts in onto his right foot and hits one towards the far corner. It takes a strange bounce up off the turf and goes over the keeper's outstretched arms. 2-2!

83: Patient, passing play from West Ham and they finally work a way into the box, but Holland is shoved off the ball and it goes for a keeper's kick. Meanwhile, Diangana comes off for Djair Parfitt-Williams.

76: It's a low effort which Raphael Spiegel is on hand to push away. Any touch from a player in the box and that was in. West Ham United ride their luck.

75: Quina gives away a needless free-kick on the edge of the box and Leicester have the chance to double their advantage. Ndukwu to take the set piece...

74: And now Noha Sylvestre comes off for the more attacking outlet Dan Kemp.

69: A first competitive appearance for Ben Johnson in the U23s as he replaces Joe Powell up top.

68: More good stuff from Grady, but he curls over after cutting back onto his left foot.

62: Good chance for Kairo Mitchell but the forward blasts over after getting in behind the Hammers' defence.

58: Chance for Joe Powell! Quina tries to beat his man on the edge of the box and the ball ricochets to Powell, who slices one with his swinger!

57: Booking for Makasi. He brought down Muskwe with a late trip.

55: Powell wins a free-kick in a dangerous position on the left. Quina swings it in, in-swinging, but it's straight into the keeper's hands.

48: The Hammers have the ball in the net! But Joe Powell's tap-in is ruled out for offside. The forward pounced after Iverson saved Domingos Quina's initial effort, but he as beyond the last defender as the ball was kicked.

46: Time to put things right! We're back underway.

HT: And that's it for the first 45 in the Premier League Cup.

45+1: Goal for Leicester! Muskwe again scores as he nicks it from a West Ham player on the halfway line and races clear to finish. Sloppy again from the hosts.

45: Cleared. Two minutes of added time is signalled.

44: Holland lifts a ball to the back stick and Diangana just about keeps it on, but it's cleared. Corner.

40: First attempt of the evening for Powell, but he curls it over and wide. No danger for Iverson in goal this time.

38: Andy Carroll-esque from Diangana! The ball balloons up into the air inside the box, and the winger watches it all the way onto his foot as he performs an acrobatic overhead kick. It flies inches wide of the post. Great attempt!

35: Joe Powell hasn't been in the game much and that will disappoint the hosts, as he's their main man up top. Quina, however, is looking to get on the ball any time he can.

29: Early sub for Leicester. Choudhury, who's looked sharp in the centre of midfield, picks up and injury and Dylan Watts is his replacement.

26: The winger is involved again and draws a foul just inside the Leicester half. Alexandra Pascanu brought him down and had he been nearer the goal, he'd have been in serious trouble. It's just a yellow.

24: Another chance for Diangana - he's lively tonight after a goal in his last appearance. On the edge of the box, he shifts it onto his left but can't whip it enough to hit the target.

21: West Ham get down the left and Nathan Holland released Diangana with a clever reverse pass into the box, but the winger doesn't quite read it and can't pull the trigger before it rolls out for a goal kick.

19: It's been a bit of a midfield battle since the Hammers' equaliser. Both sides have five in there so it's pretty congested. Still, West Ham are in control of the ball for the most part.

16: Chance for the visitors - Layton Ndukwu shows his first bit of skill and leaves Knoyle for dead with a nice dummy, but fires across the goal and wide with his left foot.

11: GOALLLLLL! It's the equaliser! Declan Rice, the skipper, gets on the end of Domingos Quina's corner, flicking the ball cleverly over the stranded keeper. We're all square - what a response from West Ham.

10: Quina comes forward with the ball and feints to shoot once or twice before slipping as he pulls the trigger. Unlucky after some good footwork! Corner for the hosts.

6: Goal for Leicester. Admiral Muskwe steals the ball off Josh Pask in a dangerous area and slots the ball past Spiegel with no trouble. Pask will regret not just clearing the ball to safety there - he had the opportunity to do so.

5: All the early possession here for West Ham and a few good attacks, but no chances of note. Leicester are bottom of their league so may be a bit short of confidence.

4: Good fast start from the Hammers sees Grady Diangana race down the right and play in a cross after a few one-twos. It's cleared on this occasion and the Hammers go again.

1: We're off and underway at Victoria Road in the Premier League Cup!

6:45pm: So, let's have a more serious look at that team. Joe Powell is up top again this evening after putting in a good shift there on Friday against Blackburn Rovers, and Domingos Quina comes back into the starting lineup. Grady Diangana keeps his place after scoring the Hammers' goal last week and new signing Nathan Holland makes his third appearance.

6:30pm: So, it's a Group E game tonight and the Hammers are currently on course to qualify for the knockout stages of the competition that they of course won last season. A win tonight would strengthen that position though, so it's an important clash!

6pm: Good evening! We're live and back at Dagenham and Redbridge for tonight's Premier League Cup clash against Leicester City. The Hammers beat tonight's opponents in the reverse fixture earlier this campaign in Group E - who could forget Domingo's Quina's wonder goal in that tie? - and will be hoping to repeat the feat tonight. Team news to follow shortly!
