As the transfer deadline draws closer, a couple of rumours linking incoming players to London Stadium make Wednesday's press.
In talkSPORT, they revive a rumour which was doing the rounds earlier this summer, suggesting West Ham could still move for Benfica forward Raul Jimenez.
The Mirror say West Ham are still in the hunt for long-time target William Carvalho, although Monaco are now also believed to be interested in the Sporting Lisbon midfielder.
Meanwhile, the same newspaper lists the needs for each Premier League club, saying that a defensive midfielder is West Ham's main target - meaning a move for Carvalho could still be possible.
