Our daily round-up of the West Ham United stories making the news...
It's a quiet day for West Ham United stories in the newspapers, but Michail Antonio believes the Hammers are just a couple of signings away from real success next term.
In the Daily Mail, the Club's top scorer this season reckons they can put a tough 2016/17 behind them by challenging for Europe again next term.
Antonio said: “I am looking to be back around July, basically getting ready for beginning of next season.
“I'm hoping to be involved in the majority of pre-season training. I might miss the first week, but I'll hopefully be back for the rest of it. We need to sign a couple of players and get more goals. If we can do that, we will be up there for European places.”
Meanwhile, the Evening Standard has more from Winston Reid who, like Antonio, can see better things around the corner.
He said: “It was a decent performance and as long as we have that determination and work ethic, we should get the points we need to be safe and then build towards next year.
"The players will learn a lot from this experience. It has been a roller-coaster ride and not easy, with the new stadium and the big turnaround in the squad. We will learn from this.”
