FT- Dev Squad 1-1 Blackburn Rovers

LIVE: Dev Squad 1-1 Blackburn Rovers

There's the full time whistle and it's all square. We'll have exclusive reaction for you across our channels shortly.

90+3: Just seconds to go here, the Hammers are pressing for a winner!

90: Three minutes of time to be added on.

88: Penalty to the visitors...which Spiegel saves superbly! What a save that was, he read Forrester's body shape and stuck out a huge paw. Great goalkeeping.

79: Neufville dances his way to the edge of the box, is bundled over, but the referee is unmoved.

77: GOOOOAL!! Sam Ford equalises from penalty spot, cool as you like he steps up and fires home. Diangana was fouled in the box and Blackburn can have no complaints.

75: Moment of hesitation almost allows the visitors to consolidate their lead yet Henry takes decisive action and clears. Dan Kemp is being readied and comes on in place of Stephen Hendrie.

71: How close can you get?! Neufville lays a lovely weighted ball in for Hendrie who is in behind the defence. He takes a touch and aims for the far corner. It evades it by inches.

68: Further good work by Dobson who shimmies his way past two players before launching another long ball in search of Ford who is flagged offside, it must have been close!

64: Rice has well and truly given everything for the captain's armband tonight - in fact he's done it proud. Faultess in possession, superb in the air and fearless in the tackle. Great work. Westley elects to roll the dice as he replaces Makasi with Noha Sylvestre.

61: Close yet again! Byram shows his man a new twist of pace, leaving him dizzy, he bares down on goal and fires his shot, inches over the bar. Surely the pressure will take its toll eventually?!

58: Let off! Somehow Mahoney finds himself with a sight at goal yet under pressure from Neufville he fires just wide of the top left corner.

55: The visitors respond with a spell of pressure of their own. They have a series of corner yet the Hammers defend their lines well, led chiefly by Rice who has been superb again tonight.

51: The crowd are enjoying this now. Rice's puts it on a sixpence for Byram, one touch and out of his feet in search of Hendrie however the ball is intercepted in the knick of time.

50:
Close! Henry attacks Hendrie's hanging corner but just can't get quite enough purchase.

48: Teasing cross from Neufville looks inviting and Ford flings himself at it and is just inches away. All it needed was any type of touch!

46: We're back underway here at Rush Green, you feel it's within the Hammers grasp to turn this around. Let's hope they do!

Half-time here at Rush Green, still along way to go yet!

43: Chance!
Henry and Lewis both go close before a goalmouth scramble is somehow cleared away. The Hammers are getting closer, they don't really want half-time.

40:
Audacious effort from Makasi as he attempts an overhead kick! Full marks for effort and ingenuity, less so for execution...

38: Another good move for the hosts. Makasi, Dobson and Neufville all involved, their patient build up is rewarded as Hendrie is fouled. Goalkeeper Fisher collects the delievery without too much fuss.

33: Best move of the match so far by a distance! Lewis picks the ball up with seemingly little on, however he plays a wonderful reverse pass into Byram who bursts forward into the box and his cut back is intercepted just as Sam Ford was ready to pounce.

29: Good move from the Hammers as Neufville and Hendrie combine down the left wing to win a corner, they play it short and eventually back in but the cross has too much on it and out for a goalkick.

25: Free-kick to Blackburn in a dangerous position which they whip in. Byram does well under pressure to head it out for a corner. From the delievery, Blackburn fire in a teasing cross which Sam Lavelle gets his head too and clips the post! Close shave!

22: Typically excellent cross field pass from George Dobson, a raking 60-yard hit that catches everyone out apart from Sam Byram who runs onto it however his cross is over hit and out for a goal kick.

20: The visitors win back posession on halfway and burst forward. Their winger Mahoney has got real pace and he uses it to win a corner. Thankfully the Hammers clear it away with minimal fuss.

18: Blackburn are doing all they can to disrupt the Hammers from settling into their usual rhythm of possession based football. However Byram and Dobson are doing their best to assert themselves.

13: Again the Hammers get round the back, this time Sam Ford shows a burst of pace and feeds Stephen Hendrie on the edge of the box. He tries to drill a cross along the floor but it is cut out and Rovers clear.

10: Better from the Hammers. Dobson sprays it left and then right, eventually finding Neufville who needs no invitation to burst forward. His cross is deflected and out for a corner which is scrambled away.

7: The hosts try to respond through Grady Diangana whose snapshot is just wide. Moments later Sam Byram tries to force the issue down the right flank but is crowded out.

4: Their pressure pays off as a long ball upfield isn't dealt with and striker Anton Forrester slides it home coolly.

3: Early spell of pressure for the hosts as they look to get on the front foot.

1: Here we go! Both teams are in the traditional colours. Handshakes are underway, coin toss done and we're all set!

18.55: Not long to go before kick-off. As ever, Julian Dicks is here watching the potential future stars of West Ham United. It's also a big night for young Declan Rice who captains the side, the youngster has been superb all season for both U18 and U21.

18.45: The games are coming thick and fast for Terry Westley's men. Following tonight's game they travel to Newcastle to face the Magpies on Friday evening before the all important semi-final v Liverpool on Wednesday 16 March at Rush Green. Certainly a game not to be missed!

18.30: A quick look at the table as we get to the business end of the season and the Hammers are chasing down a play off position. Currently, sixth just one spot off, a win tonight could see them leapfrog West Brom.

A win for Blackburn in ninth, on 20 points, will see them overtake Fulham and close the gap on Swansea City.

18.20: The two sides have already played each other twice this season, with a win apiece, tonight is the decider! The visitors won a pulsating game 4-3 at Ewood Park while the Hammers knocked Rovers out of the cup with a 2-1 win at Rush Green just over a month ago.
