2016/17 Premier League fixtures

  • West Ham United kick-off 2016/17 Premier League season at Chelsea on Saturday 13 August
  • AFC Bournemouth will be the first visitors to the London Stadium a week later

West Ham United will welcome AFC Bournemouth as the first Premier League visitors to our new home on Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park!

The Hammers kick-off 2016/17 with a London derby with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Saturday 13 August, where Slaven Bilic's men came within a whisker of winning last term, before welcoming the Cherries to the London Stadium on Saturday 20 August.

Other standout fixtures include the visit of Arsenal on Saturday 3 December, Jose Mourinho's Manchester United on Monday 2 January 2017, Pep Guardiola's Manchester City on Saturday 31 January, champions Leicester City on Saturday 18 March and the closing two home games with Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool on consecutive Saturdays in May.

Of course, Hammers fans will hope to see many of the above fixtures move to Sunday afternoons, as that will mean West Ham have progressed in the UEFA Europa League, which is played on Thursday evenings.

Boxing Day will see Bilic take his squad to Swansea City, while 2016 will come to an end with a New Year's Eve trip to face Claudio Ranieri's Leicester.
