Hammers touch down in North Carolina

West Ham United kicked-off the second half of their US Tour in Cary, North Carolina, on Saturday evening.

The Hammers took off from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport early in the morning for a five-hour flight to Raleigh-Durham, arriving at 5pm.

From there, it was a short bus ride to the team hotel. After a meal, the squad freshened up before heading to WakeMed Soccer Park for a muscle-loosening 90-minute training session.

There, the hometown Carolina RailHawks were beating a Tampa Bay Rowdies side boasting a certain Joe Cole in their warm-up NASL fixture ahead of Tuesday's pre-season clash with Slaven Bilic's side.

From there, it was back to the hotel for a shower and dinner before a well-earned night's rest ahead of Monday's double training session.
