- Foundation runs sessions for people of all ages and backgrounds across the region
This December, join the West Ham United Foundation as they take a daily look at the effect Hammers has across our communities in east London, Essex and beyond.
The Foundation delivers life-changing work every day of the year, through programmes designed to promote health and well-being through community participation in sports, tackling exclusion and poverty and advancing the education of children and young people.
By following #FestiveFoundation throughout December 2016, Hammers fans can take the opportunity to find out more about what their Club is doing to support its most important stakeholders – its supporters.
Whether it is participants at our disability inclUSive sessions achieving something they have never done before, over-65s tackling isolation by meeting to talk all things WHU, or providing the opportunity for young people to gain the skills required to break the mould and achieve, the @whu_foundation Twitter account will be showcasing its work in a bid to display what we REALLY do.
Follow the hashtag #FestiveFoundation - or why not give @whu_foundation a follow - to see a daily glimpse into one of the 40+ programmes the Foundation is currently delivering to people aged three to 83, from East Ham to Spain.
What’s more, if you’d like to find out more about any of the programmes the Foundation delivers, or how you can get involved, Foundation staff will be on hand to answer your tweets and provide more information should you need it.
So – what are you waiting for? Head over to twitter and search #FestiveFoundation to check out our first snapshot of the month!
