Watch the U21s for FREE tonight!

The Dev Squad's match with Newcastle United, 7pm tonight, is free for all fans
West Ham United are delighted to announce that the Development Squad’s meeting with Newcastle United U21 tonight at the Boleyn Ground is be FREE for all fans.

This is the perfect opportunity to see the Club’s rising stars in action, following a hugely successful summer for the Academy of Football.

As many as ten Academy products have made their senior West Ham bow this season already and Academy Manager Terry Westley’s side will now take on Newcastle legend Peter Beardsley’s men under the lights at the Boleyn Ground.

Westley is hoping Hammers fans will turn out in their numbers to support West Ham’s next generation and is confident that his charges will rise to the occasion.

“Playing at the Boleyn Ground is always a big thing for any player and a great experience particularly for our younger players,” he confirmed.

“Already this season we’ve played at the Emirates and at Ewood Park and that certainly gave the home side a lift.

“Hopefully we’ll get that little bit extra, that advantage tonight, in front of a decent home crowd and get the result our performances have merited.”

In their last encounter, five goals hit the net, although with the Magpies scoring four of them, the Hammers will have plenty of motivation to set the record straight.

Tonight's game also represents one of the last chances to visit the historic Boleyn Ground – completely free of charge – before the Club move to the new Stadium on Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

Kick-off at the Boleyn Ground is at 7pm.
