Fans travelling by road to Monday's fixture with Newcastle United should take note of the following important travel news update.
The A13 Thames Gateway remains closed eastbound at Goresbrook Interchange due to a collision at Rainham Marshes. The carriageway is likely to remain closed for several hours into Monday evening.
This incident has caused long delays on the eastbound carriageway to the A112 Prince Regent Lane junction, with heavy congestion expected around the Boleyn Ground throughout the evening.
Supporters driving to the Boleyn Ground are advised to avoid the area and take an alternative route, or to take public transport.
