- Victor Moses was born in Kaduna, Nigeria on 12 December 1980. He arrived in London aged eleven and was soon scouted by Crystal Palace.
- He went to school in South Norwood, just streets away from Crystal Palace’s stadium and he soon made rapid progress through the Eagles’ academy, scoring 50 goals in a season for the club’s Under-14 side.
- Moses made his senior debut aged 16, as the Eagles secured a 1-1 Championship draw with Cardiff City on 6 November 2007.
- His first senior goal arrived four months later in another 1-1 draw – this time against Sunderland.
- Moses’ first Premier League club was Wigan Athletic, with his first goal in the top flight coming on 3 May 2010. Hull City were the opposition.
- Victor’s best goalscoring campaign came in 2012/13 – his first with Chelsea. He notched eleven goals in all competitions, including six in Europe. Four of those came in the UEFA Europa League, a competition Chelsea won that season.
- He made 29 appearances for England at age groups running from U16s to U21s, but decided in 2012 to play his senior international football for Nigeria, playing a key role in the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations triumph.
- Back in England, he moved on loan to Liverpool for the 2013/14 season and scored two goals for the Reds – one on his debut against Swansea City and the other in an FA Cup fourth round victory over AFC Bournemouth.
- He was loaned out against last term, this time to Stoke City, where he scored four goals in 23 games.
- Upon his return to Chelsea this summer, he played his first competitive game for the Club in two years when he came off the bench in the Community Shield defeat to Arsenal.
