From the Boardroom - David Sullivan

West Ham United Joint-Chairman David Sullivan praises the contribution from Andy Carroll during the memorable win over Chelsea

I have been very impressed with the Club's start to the season.

It is a fantastic achievement, but the manager knows he needs to keep everyone's feet on the ground and there are no easy games in the Premier League.

It is a great start and more than what we could have hoped for. We have now got to keep it going.

We have had a tough opening ten games but we are only two points off the top and we could easily be top of the table.

We are seven games unbeaten and why can't we dream of big things this season.

We have four top class central defenders and we have got cover all over the squad. We have still got Alex Song and Enner Valencia to come back.

Andy Carroll is starting to come back and it was great to see him score the winner against Chelsea on Saturday.

You could argue that he has made an impact in the last three games that he has come on since the Norwich game.

He was involved in the injury time equaliser that Kouyate scored, he set up the second goal for Manuel Lanzini against Crystal Palace and got the winner on Saturday.

He has had a huge impact. There is no reason why that cannot continue. We all want him to do well.

He has trained incredibly hard and on his day he can make a contribution.

We want every player at West Ham United to do well. The manager's problem will be keeping everyone happy but that is a good thing to have.

We don't have to rush anyone back from injury now and this is the strongest squad we have ever put together. We are very optimistic for the future.

In football we are here to dream. We were in four competitions at the start of the season, we are left in two and anything is possible.
