A resounding victory for the hosts who were excellent from the first to the last minute. The Reds really strengthened their title credentials. Their speed, range of passing and creativity were very impressive.

75: Goal for Liverpool. Sergi Canos spins on a sixpence before rolling the ball home, an excellent bit of skill.
70: Djair Parfitt-Williams is replaced by Grady Diangana. Can the explosive winger conjure up a bit of magic?
66: Goal for Liverpool. Ryan McLaughlin caps an impressive performance with his second goal of the evening following a surge into the box and a sharp finish.
65: Jaanai Gordon is coming on in place of Joe Powell who has put in a shift tonight.
62: A stoppage in play as a Liverpool player is down receiving treatment. It gives the Dev Squad time to catch their breath as they are chasing everything. Thankfully McLaughlin is back on his feet and able to continue.
59: Lewis Page goes into the book for a trip on Ryan McLaughlin. Taking one for the team, I believe it's called.
56: The Hammers are giving their all for the cause, it's just not falling for them tonight. Liverpool are trying to take control of the game by knocking it around the back four.

48: A bright start for the U21s, whatever Steve Potts said half time is clearly having an effect. Parfitt-Williams whips in two dangerous crosses which Jordan Brown nearly gets on the end of.
46: We're back under way here at Chester FC. Matty Carter is on in place on Amos Nasha who picked up a knock.

43: Goal for Liverpool. A candidate for goal of the season here as Wilson, Canos and Brannagan combine for a wonderful, incisive passing move that Brannagan slots home. There seemed to be nothing on yet within seconds it was in the back of the net. Clinical.
39: Liverpool's Brad Smith has the goal at his mercy as he makes a run to the back post. Wilson sees him yet Smith gets his feet in a tangle and the chance is gone.
37: Seconds later and Canos goes inches wide from securing the victory but he steers his shot wide from inside the six-yard-box.
36: Excellent defending from Manny Onariase as he makes two goal saving challenges to deny Sergi Canos an almost certain goal.
32: Amos Nasha sends a great ball for Jordan Brown to chase, he gets to the byline and cuts back before drilling a vicious cross along the six yard box. Unfortunately it's just too far ahead of the onrushing Parfitt-Williams.
26: Superb move by the Hammers. Kyle Knoyle sends a ball down the right flank which Joe Powell chests down. Josh Cullen shows superb determination to win a 50/50 challenge that sets Parfitt-Williams running at the defence. Joe Maguire recovers well to clear the danger. Better from the Dev Squad.
23: Sam Howes comes to the Hammers' rescue as he dives at the feet of Harry Wilson to deny a one-on-one situation - think Joe Hart against Lionel Messi.
20: Josh Cullen is demanding more of his players and they respond to their captain's orders. There's a lot more intensity in their play.
16: Djair Parfitt-Williams goes on a mazy run as he tries to find an opening. He's eventually stopped on the edge of the box. Meanwhile Liverpool have had two penalty appeals turned down - one of them looked like a stonewall spot kick but the referee played on.
13: The hosts are continuing to pile on the pressure as Harry Wilson fires a shot which is blocked by Alex Pike.
10: Not the start the Hammers had in mind at all. Liverpool's speed of passing and speed of counter has been very impressive. The game is beginning to settle down as the Hammers look get more possession.

18.35: Both teams are out on the pitch going their usual pre-match routines. Meanwhile in the stands a wedding ceremony has just concluded. Bouquets, confetti, the whole nine yards, Let's hope the Hammers can cap off a special day for the happy couple with a victory!
18.20: The U21s on the other hand, are looking to bounce back from a 3-0 defeat to Sunderland. Speaking ahead of tonight’s clash, U21s coach Steve Potts said his side need to show more belief in themselves if they are to get a result.
18.15: Earlier in the season, Liverpool recorded an impressive 4-0 win over the Hammers at the Boleyn Ground. Since then, the Reds have gone from strength to strength and they are currently one of a number of candidates to win the title.
Should they win their two league games in hand over rivals Manchester United and Southampton they would go top with just six games to go.
