West Ham United captain Kevin Nolan was born in Liverpool on 24 June 1982.
The Hammers skipper has enjoyed success since joining the east London Club from Newcastle United on 16 June 2011, leading West Ham to promotion to the Premier League in his first season in claret and blue.
The attacking midfielder has also scored regularly since arriving at the Boleyn Ground, netting 13 times in 2011/12 and finishing as leading scorer with ten in 2012/13 and seven the following year.
An influential figure, Nolan captained Bolton for four years before being handed the armband again following his £4m move to Newcastle in January 2009.
The one-time England Under-21 international gained promotion with both Bolton in 2000/01 and Newcastle in 2009/10 - a campaign that also saw him voted into the PFA Championship Team of the Year by his fellow professionals.
Nolan also helped the Trotters to reach the 2004 League Cup final and made 12 appearances in the UEFA Cup, scoring in victories over PFC Lokomotiv Plovdiv and FC Zenit Saint Petersburg during the 2005/06 season.
In all, the former England Under-21 international totalled 345 appearances and 50 goals for Bolton before making a successful switch to Newcastle in January 2009.
Nolan enjoyed a productive time at St James' Park, scoring 18 goals as the Magpies soared to the Championship title in 2009/10 before netting 12 more as Newcastle finished 12th in the Premier League table in 2010/11.

Peter Bennett

Peter Bennett was an inside-forward who played a full part in West Ham United's thrilling FA Youth Cup final win over Liverpool in 1963.
Born on 24 June 1946 in Hillingdon, Middlesex, Bennett wore the No8 shirt as the Hammers roared back from a 3-1 first-leg deficit to win the second leg 5-2 at the Boleyn Ground and 6-5 on aggregate.
Unfortunately for young Bennett, the presence of Geoff Hurst, John Dick, Brian Dear, Ronnie Boyce, Martin Peters, John Sissons and Alan Sealey in Ron Greenwood's squad restricted his first-team opportunities, but he did make his debut aged just 17 in a 3-2 home Division One defeat by Bolton Wanderers on 4 April 1964.
A maiden goal arrived two years later in a 6-2 league defeat at Chelsea on 9 April 1966. In all, Bennett managed three goals in 47 appearances before he joined Leyton Orient in 1970 in a deal that also saw Tommy Taylor join the Hammers.
Bennett quickly established himself at Brisbane Road, being named captain and making more than 200 appearances for the club.
