Our man on the inside lifts the lid on the latest transfer speculation...

With the players preparing for the start of the Europa League on Thursday night these are certainly busy times for the Club but I have been told that there is plenty of work going on behind the scenes as Slaven Bilic looks to bring even more players into his squad.

I can exclusively reveal that the Club are close to making two more signings and hope to announce them in the next 72 hours.

Darren Randolph, Pedro Obiang and Dimitri Payet have already arrived at the Boleyn Ground this summer and I believe the Club are doing everything to make the squad as strong as possible as they prepare for a busy schedule in both domestic and European competition.

There has been a lot of speculation linking the Club with Aymen Abdennour and although he is highly regarded, my understanding is that the Monaco defender will be joining a top European club for a fee believed to be over £20m.

There have also been stories linking West Ham with moves for defenders Aleksandar Dragovic and Angelo Ogbonna.

I have been told that the Club are looking to sign another central defender and they are keeping all their options open at the moment.

Rumours are also circulating that West Ham are in a battle with Crystal Palace to sign Lille midfielder Idrissa Gueye, but my understanding is that the Club have other targets and he looks set to join another Premier League Club.
