The launch of the DT38 Dylan Tombides Foundation adorns Saturday's Programme cover
The launch of the DT38 Foundation adorns the cover of Saturday’s Official Programme for West Ham Untied’s Barclays Premier League fixture with Crystal Palace.
The new charity was set up in memory of the late Hammers striker Dylan Tombides, who passed away at the age of 20 in April 2014 following a courageous three-year battle with testicular cancer.
The DT38 Foundation has been set up by the Tombides family to raise awareness and support of testicular cancer in young men and to enable young players like Dylan to fulfil their potential.
Inside, fans can find out how to get involved with the charity, which becomes the Club’s second official charity for the 2014/15 campaign, alongside the West Ham United Moore Family Foundation.
Supporters can also enjoy a feature interview with reigning Hammer of the Year Mark Noble, who signed a new long-term contract with the Club earlier this week.
Elsewhere, there are revealing columns penned by Joint-Chairman David Sullivan, manager Sam Allardyce and captain Kevin Nolan, as well as exclusive interviews with new boys Nene and Doneil Henry and former Hammers striker Brian Deane.
Evening Standard man Ken Dyer chats to ex-Palace manager Alan Smith, while there is the usual nine-page in-depth analysis of the visitors, who will be led by former West Ham boss Alan Pardew.
With all the above, plus the regular historical features and all the latest Boleyn Bulletins, including news from the new Stadium and West Ham United Foundation, the 84-page perfect-bound issue is one you really cannot afford to miss!
Priced at £3.50, the Official Programme will be available to buy in and around the Boleyn Ground – including the Stadium Store – on matchday.
