Advent Calendar - Day 15

Hundreds of young fans met their heroes at the Junior Hammers Christmas Party
Young fans left the Boleyn Ground full of festive cheer following the annual Junior Hammers Christmas Party.

Hundreds of youngsters were joined by captain Mark Noble, Alex Song, Darren Randolph, Josh Cullen and Reece Oxford - as well as Father Christmas and Club mascots Bubbles and Hammerhead - at this year's party at the Boleyn Ground.

There, the players met the youngsters and their parents, signing autographs and posing for selfies, while midfielder Song even led an impromptu Christmas dance with one group of lucky children.

"I remember when I was this age and I used to bang on Danny Williamson's door because he used to live around the corner from me!" Noble recalled. "They only really see us from a distance on the pitch, so it's a great day for us to come along and see the children."

Randolph echoed the skipper's sentiments, revealing that he would love to have attended a similar event when he was a child!

"When I was as young as them, I'd have been exactly the same, going along to meet the players, so it's nice to come down and spend time with them!" said the goalkeeper.
