Hammer Louisa has The X Factor!

Everyone at West Ham United would like to congratulate lifelong Hammer Louisa Johnson on winning The X Factor 2015!

The 17-year-old from Essex justified her tag as the bookmakers’ favourite by storming to victory in the ITV singing competition, backed by tens of thousands of votes from her fellow Hammers.

Louisa, who visited Chadwell Heath and performed to Slaven Bilic and the first-team squad in the lead up to the semi-finals, put on another powerful performance in the two-part final, which was shown on Saturday and Sunday evenings.

On Saturday night, Louisa’s duet with her mentor Rita Ora went viral, while Sunday’s rendition of the winner’s song Forever Young was met with widespread praise in the studio and online.

“I have imagined this day for so many years,” said a tearful Louisa, whose father David is also a huge West Ham fan. “You have no idea how much this means to me. Thank you so much!”

Louisa’s debut single Forever Young is tipped to be this year’s Christmas No1.

Everyone at the Club would like to wish Louisa success in her future career and we hope to see you singing at the Boleyn Ground soon!
