Classic match

Birmingham City 1-2 West Ham United
Premier League
5 December 2005

A stunning solo effort from Bobby Zamora and a goal from Marlon Harewood were enough to give the Hammers all three points at St Andrews.

Emile Heskey had given the hosts the lead after 11 minutes before Zamora produced a spectacular goal, beating three players and sliding the ball through the keepers legs, to level the scores.

The scoring was completed before half-time as Harewood notched his sixth goal of the season with two minutes until the break to secure a brilliant away result for the Hammers in their first season back in the Premier League.
