New Stadium time-lapse

West Ham United are delighted to unveil previously unseen time-lapse footage of the New Stadium conversion.

After almost two years of continuous construction at the former Olympic Stadium, July will see a short break in works.

The summer hiatus will allow for four months of athletics and rugby events at the Stadium, before the construction work resumes in November and the final stage of the Stadium’s transformation into West Ham’s new home begins.

Work is currently nearing completion on the construction of the Stadium’s record-breaking new roof and rigging the floodlights underneath.

The next steps will be the installation of the innovative retractable seating at the front of the stands, and the completion of facilities for fans attending the summer athletics and rugby events.

Once those events are complete it will be all systems go to get the Stadium into full football mode ahead of the big kick-off in August 2016.
