Both Hull City and West Ham United had busy summer transfer windows as they set about the task of restructuring their squads for the challenges of another Barclays Premier League season.
The Hammers brought nine new players into the fold, including the late additions of Alex Song and Morgan Amalfitano, while Hull's spending also went right to the wire, as they recruited Gaston Ramirez, Abel Hernandez, Hatem Ben Arfa and a player Hammers fans will be especially aware of on the final day.
Mo Diame ended his two year stay at the Boleyn Ground to link up with Steve Bruce's men, but West Ham forward Ricardo Vaz Te is confident his team's new boys will help the Londoners come out on top at the KC Stadium on Monday.
"It will be a tricky game," he explained, "They've added a few players to their squad - one of ours as well! He'll be able to give a lot of intel about the Club, but we're very optimistic and we're capable of producing a result there.
"We've made a number of very good additions too. Looking at the forwards they're all different players - Sakho is very strong and very fast. Mauro is sharp, skilful and looks to link up the play. Enner Valencia will run behind and come short, so we've got plenty of variety.
"It's about integrating them into the team and finding the right solution for each player."
