"We won it with a late corner at the end when Johnnie Jackson scored with a header at the back post, so it was a good feeling.
"It was one of the best wins of my career and the first win of my first-team career, so it was an important one. It was a London derby and with everything else that was going on, with them having just come down from the Premier League and wanting to get promoted straight away.
"We wanted to win as well and we got it and it was massive for us."

Having impressed on his full debut at Old Trafford, injuries to midfield colleagues could give the No23 the opportunity to keep his place on Sunday.
After tackling the likes of Angel Di Maria, Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie last weekend, he is now relishing the chance to share the pitch with the likes of Rio Ferdinand, Robert Green and Niko Kranjcar.
"QPR have strengthened their squad and they've got a good side for this season as well," he observed. "One thing I've noticed over the years through watching games is watching players like that and learning off them.
"If I do get the chance to play, that would be great for me, especially because it would be my first home league appearance. I'll do as well as I can and leave everything on the pitch."
