Hola!
This Saturday we play an in-form Newcastle United at the Boleyn Ground. I know all the lads can't wait for kick off and it feels like ages since we last played at home.
I played alongside Newcastle's Jonas Guitierrez for three seasons at Velez Sarsfield. He is a fantastic person and a brilliant player. It is great news that he is getting better and I wish him a speedy recovery.
Newcastle have won their last six games so we know it will be a very tough match but we don't fear anyone. Having beaten Liverpool and Manchester City already, we know that if we play to our best, we can get the three points. After our great start to the season, I think we can finish in the top six or seven teams.
It was very frustrating to lose to Everton because I thought we did well. We had a few chances at 1-1 that we probably should have taken then obviously they scored on the counter attack.
Despite not winning in three games, we are still playing well which is a good sign. We know we are not far away. We need to keep doing the positive things we are doing and maybe sharpen up a bit in front of goal.
On a personal level I was lucky that the goal against Everton was awarded to me. Obviously I am very happy to score, that is one of my responsibilities for the team.
It's very important to take your opportunities, especially for a striker because we are judged mainly on our goalscoring records. Hopefully I can score more goals and help the team maintain our good position. The more time I get on the pitch the better I feel. It's also good for my confidence.
I want to say a big thank you to all the West Ham fans who have welcomed me. A lot of fans messaged me after scoring against Crystal Palace saying it was a spectacular goal. I am pleased if I can make the fans happy but I know I can score better goals.
I am really enjoying my time at West Ham, it is great to be back in the Premier League as it is the best league in the world. It has the best teams and every player wants to come to England.
My time at Birmingham was fantastic. It was sad because we got relegated but playing here was a fantastic experience.
I've played in several different leagues in my career. Serie A is very different to the Premier League. Here, it is much faster, you have to control the ball immediately otherwise you lose it. In Italy it is more tactical.
When I heard West Ham were interested in me I jumped at the chance. I am 27 years old, and thought I might not get another opportunity.
We have a fantastic group of players here. I knew they were talented before I came but I didn't know their personalities. Everyone here is very welcoming, the players, the coaches, everyone.
Kevin Nolan is a very funny guy, a lot of the lads make me laugh. At first I couldn't understand what Joey O'Brien or Aaron Creswell were saying because their accents are so strong!
When I first arrived it was very helpful that Enner, Adrian and Diego all speak Spanish but my English is improving all the time. Away from football we sometimes go to dinner. I cooked them a meal once at my house. We had Asado which is an Argentinian style of steak, it is fantastic!
Hasta luego!
