Dev Squad set for cup clash

West Ham United's Development Squad start their U21 Premier League Cup campaign on Tuesday against London neighbours Millwall in the Round of 32.

The Dev Squad go into their first domestic cup match of season full of confidence after beating PSV Eindhoven 2-1 at the Boleyn Ground last Wednesday, giving them a good chance of qualifying for the knockout stages of the Premier League International Cup.

An emphatic strike from Kieran Bywater levelled the proceedings having conceded an early goal, before Kieran Sadlier tucked away Sebastian Lletget's neat through-ball. The result capped off a wonderful team performance, led out by Captain Reece Oxford.

In Millwall's previous round they overcame Colchester United to set up the Round of 32 fixture with the Hammers.

The result of the match will be determined on the day, with a 30 minute period of extra time and a penalty shootout used if the teams are level.

Please note that this match will be played behind closed doors.
