West Ham United have been drawn away to Southampton in the FA Youth Cup third round.
The in-form Hammers sit second in Barclays U18 Premier League Group B, level on points with leaders Chelsea, while the Saints are down in ninth place.
The two sides met in a thrilling game at Little Heath on 20 September, when Steve Potts' West Ham roared back from two goals down to snatch a dramatic 3-2 victory.
West Ham have won the FA Youth Cup on three previous occasions, lifting the trophy in 1963, 1981 and 1999. Southampton have never won the competition, but did finish as runners-up to Manchester United in 2005.
Both clubs have storied histories when it comes to producing their own stars. West Ham, of course, is the Academy of Football, while Southampton has gained a reputation in recent years for developing the likes of Theo Walcott, Gareth Bale, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Luke Shaw and Adam Lallana.
The tie will be played before Saturday 20 December, most likely on a midweek evening, with a 7pm kick-off. Further details will appear on whufc.com and our social media channels in due course.
