Leadership Through Sport (LTS), together with West Ham United Community Sports Trust and Newham College, are on the lookout for 20 new recruits to embark on an east London leadership programme.
The course, which begins this summer, will firstly see students work toward a Level 2 AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) Certificate with Newham College, before taking on a year-long work placement or apprenticeship from January 2015.
To kick-start the recruitment drive, LTS are to host a Boleyn Ground Open Day on Monday 18 August, with introductory lectures, a question and answer session, group activities and a Stadium tour all on the agenda. The Open Day will run from 9.30am to 3pm.
Candidates must be aged between 18 and 24, with a proven passion for sport and finance. They will need a minimum of five GCSEs at A*-C, including English and Maths, as well as a willingness and determination to work hard.
Candidates can also look forward to the prospect of work experience with world-class organisations in finance, business or sport.
