The sound of 'I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles' ringing out at the Boleyn Ground is an occasion all West Ham United fans are accustomed to, but two passionate fans went a step further when they walked down the aisle to the famous tune on their big day.
After Dan and Philippa had officially become Mr and Mrs Bartlett at St Mildred's Church on the Isle of Wight on 17 May, the newlyweds made their way out of the church with the Hammers' signature anthem ringing in their ears and weaving their way through a maze of bubbles provided by their guests.
The couple both admit to being mad West Ham fans and revealed that their wedding day contained more than one nod to their support of the Hammers.
"We decided to incorporate the bubbles into the wedding as we're such big West Ham fans," admitted Philippa. "We thought it was something personal to us and very special.
"Dan had always wanted it, and asked the vicar half-heartedly, so when she said yes he was ecstatic - well, we both were!
"As soon as we decided to have 'I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles' as our exit music, having bubbles at the same time was really the most obvious choice."
The theme of the day took inspiration from the Club's famous Claret and Blue colours, with members of their family also getting involved to create a West Ham theme.
"Our colour scheme was West Ham inspired with our feature colour being claret, but I drew the line at having blue too!
"My mother, Barbara Gustar, even made a West Ham cake! We are both West Ham fans, Dan was born a fan due to his father's love for the club and I was 'brought into it' by Dan.
"We have been together for over five years and my first game was the first of the 2008/09 season against Wigan with Dean Ashton scoring twice in a 2-1 win. After going to the stadium, I soon fell in love with everything West Ham."
Both Dan and Philippa used to be regular visitors to the Boleyn Ground, but admit that they've had to sacrifice some journeys to east London as they build a life together.
"We used to come to the games a lot and even had season tickets, but since buying our own house and then saving for the wedding we have only been able to come up to a couple of games a year.
"Being from the Isle of Wight, the ferry and travel cost on top of the tickets has unfortunately stumped us."
Despite their reduced attendance at matches, the couple were still as ecstatic as every other Hammers fan in celebrating what became a regular occurrence over the course of the 2013/14 season.
"Our highlights from the season were definitely beating Tottenham three times, and the emergence of Adrian as our new number one."
