West Ham United were represented in the Lonsdale London Legends Cup at Leyton Orient's Matchroom Stadium on Sunday - but came up short as Tottenham Hotspur took the honours.
Taking on teams of former players from Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham, the Hammers unfortunately tasted defeat in all three of their group games, leaving Spurs and Chelsea to contest the final.
Paolo Di Canio donned the claret and blue once again as he joined team-mates including Kevin Keen, Steve Potts, George Parris, Kenny Brown and Rob Lee for the four-team 11-a-side contest.
There were a host of ex-Hammers on show for the opposing sides too, including Teddy Sheringham and Jimmy Walker for Tottenham and Luis Boa Morte for Arsenal.
In the final, Tottenham defeated Chelsea on penalties, and although West Ham could not make it out of the group, one-time Hammers defender Brown enjoyed the experience.
He said: "It was a good tournament. It was nice seeing ex-players and players you used to play with and haven't seen for a while, both for West Ham and the Arsenal, Spurs and Chelsea boys.
"I've spoken to a few supporters and they've really enjoyed it too.
"There's always a bit of rivalry when you're playing the London clubs. It was the same with the Masters tournaments, but unfortunately we came up a bit short on Sunday."
