West Ham United youngsters Reece Oxford and Vashon Neufville started as England U17s drew 1-1 with Finland at the Nordic Tournament on Tuesday.
Less than 18 hours after defeating Iceland 5-1 in their opening match, the Young Lions were held on a hot afternoon in Kolding, Denmark.
Oxford captained the side from centre-back, while Neufville lined up alongside him in defence at left-back.
Lucas Lingman put Finland in front on 31 minutes before Norwich City's Todd Cantwell equalised five minutes later.
Having collected four points from their opening two fixtures, England will qualify for the final if they beat Sweden in their final group match in Kolding on Thursday afternoon.
The final will be held on Saturday 2 August.
