Final score - West Ham United 1-3 Newcastle United

96: That's it. Thanks for joining us.

95: Goal! Cabaye. He curls the ball over the wall, Adrian gets a hand to it, but cannot keep it out. Good free-kick. Game over.

94: A little under two minutes remaining now. Newcastle have a free-kick for a foul by Carroll and they're not in a rush to take it. Eventually, the ball is launched forward and drops to Ben Arfa. Carroll fouls him 25 yards out, left of centre.

92: Joe Cole is caught offside.

91: We'll have five added minutes.

90: Downing crosses and Yanga-Mbiwa pokes the ball behind for a corner. Everyone is forward bar Adrian. The corner is cleared as far as Rat, who drives the ball back in. Noble finds Downing, whose cross is cleared high into the air. Collins strikes the volley from the edge of the D... wide.

89: Newcastle are being penned right back. They are simply hacking the ball clear anywhere.

87: Rat and Sissoko are back on. The sting has gone out of the game, though. How much added time will we have? Downing crosses and Newcastle clear again.

85: Rat and Sissoko have run into each other, clashed heads and are each being treated by the physios.

83: Noble is caught in possession by Tiote. He wants a free-kick but nothing is given. Ben Arfa has the ball and drives a shot wide of the left-hand post.

80: Downing wins a corner. Come on West Ham! Newcastle initially clear but then Joe Cole wins the ball back, only for his cut-back to be cut out. West Ham soon come again, but this time Downing's cross is blocked.

78: Sissoko runs into space vacated by Joe Cole and shoots powerfully from 25 yards, high and into the stand. Newcastle replace Remy with Ben Arfa.

76: Another huge change goes begging. Carlton wins a header from Collins' long diagonal ball. Downing collects and gets to the byline and cuts the ball back. Krul gets a touch but only diverts the ball into the path of Carroll, who swings his right boot at the ball and volleys it high and well wide.

74: Santon is replaced by Paul Dummett. Downing and Taylor are doubling up down the Newacastle left and Santon was having trouble dealing with them.

73: Joe Cole is on for Jarvis. Taylor hurls over a long throw which Carlton flicks on, but the ball bounces through to Krul.

71: Joe Cole is going to be on shortly, presumably for Jarvis. West Ham still have time to retrieve something here. Carroll wins two headers from crosses, but both on the stretch. West Ham are hammering on the door.

67: Cabaye has a go from 25 yards again and Adrian is there again to catch securely. Moments later, the Spaniard is tested by Ameobi's bouncing shot and his handling is immaculate again.

66: Cole wins a header from Downing's clearance. Carroll tries to find Jarvis but air-kicks... Ironic cheers from the home and away fans.

65: Yanga-Mbiwa is on for treatment for an ankle injury. He has some running repairs and is back on a minute or so later.

64: Close! Carroll wins the header, Cole finds Downing and the No23 crosses. Carroll goes in with Yanga-Mbiwa but cannot get his toe to the ball. Agonising.

62: Carroll is back at the Boleyn. Diame is replaced. Two up front for West Ham. Downing wide right, Jarvis wide left with Noble and Morrison in the middle.

60: Interesting. Pardew replaces Anita with Ameobi. Carroll is stripped but won't be coming on just yet.

59: Newcastle are going to bring on Ameobi. West Ham have called Carroll back to the bench.

58: West Ham are all over Newcastle here. Jarvis crosses low from the left but the visitors clear.

56: It should be 2-2. Taylor does brilliantly, collecting from Adrian before playing the ball into Downing. He runs onto the lay-off and gets to the edge of the penalty area before crossing low for Cole. The goal is gaping, Cole slides and somehow puts the ball wide of the far post. Unbelievable.

54: Carroll is out to warm up in a luminous orange bib. He applauds the home fans as they cheer him.

52: Downing takes on Santon from Noble's headed pass. He is fouled, but carries on himself before being brought down by the Italian. Noble takes the free-kick to the far post, Collins rises highest and heads back across the face of goal and wide.

50: Diame wins the ball then bundles through a challenge and tries to beat Steven Taylor, who cuts the ball out. Diame would have been through had he not. Taylor hurts himself making the interception and beats the ground in frustration. Strange sight. He is hobbling as he jogs upfield.

49: West Ham attack and Cole has possession on the edge of the box. Taylor wants to shoot, but the two players get in each other's way and Newcastle clear. Frustration for the home fans.

48: Rat throws the ball away from a throw-in and Newcastle spring forward on the counter. Remy gets in behind yet again and shoots across Adrian, who claws the ball away. Good save.

46: Newcastle kick-off. West Ham win it back before losing the ball again. Tiote has a go from about 30 yards but the ball drifts well wide of the left-hand post.

Ravel Morrison replaces Jack Collison at the break.

Half-time score - West Ham United 1-2 Newcastle United

47: GOAL! West Ham are back in it! Jarvis battles and wins the ball inside the box. He lays it back for Rat, whose first-time cross is a good one. Cole controls on his chest and sees his initial shot blocked by the legs of Krul. The ball hits Cole and rolls over the line. The crowd cheer. That was badly needed. Seconds after the re-start, the half-time whistle is blown. It could be a lot worse. West Ham go in a goal behind when they could easily have been out of sight. Let's hope the home side can build on that after the break. Cole now has five goals in five league starts this season.

46: We will have two added minutes.

44: It should be 3-0 and Remy should have another. He controls inside the box and loses Collins before playing a superb one-two with Gouffran. He is clean through, but the No5's touch lets him down. That would probably have been game over before half-time.

41: Taylor cannot control a high clearance and Remy pounces. The ball is fed wide to Sissoko again on the right. He looks up and picks out a team-mate on the edge of the box, whose shot is blocked behind. The corner is headed away by Collins.

40: Downing runs 50 yards down the left before winning a corner, but it comes to nothing.

37: Half-chance for the hosts. A Noble free-kick picks out Diame in the box. He controls and half-volleys a ball across the face of goal. Cole dives, but cannot get his head to it. Goal kick.

36: West Ham need half-time. Newcastle are well on top. Cabaye collects 25 yards out, assesses his options and forces Adrian into a diving save low to his right.

33: Goal! Newcastle and Remy have two. Quick and incisive play on halfway sees Sissoko race away into space behind Rat. He draws Collins from the centre and crosses with his left foot. The ball floats over Taylor and Remy controls before prodding home. West Ham have it all to do.

30: One of the Newcastle subs is warming up with a bandana on. The home fans give him a welcome on the touchline. Rat wins a free-kick then lofts the ball into the box. Cole flicks on and Downing tries a volley on the turn, but it's too close to Krul, who collects.

28: Remy needs a new shirt. Meanwhile, a free-kick from deep clears everyone and bounces out for a goal kick to the Hammers. Remy has a new shirt, complete with a No5 on the back.

27: Remy is going to need to pop off for treatment. He has blood coming from a cut on his forehead.

25: Cabaye again, this time shooting a yard wide after beating Noble on the edge of the box. He is a super little player, is Newcastle's No4.

23: West Ham have a go when a free-kick is headed out to Collison and his volley is blocked. Newcastle break at pace. Taylor nips in and plays the ball back to Adrian. He clears to halfway, but Cabaye is there. He picks out the run of Sissoko and the No7 is through. It's a great chance. He shoots low and Adrian blocks with his legs. The ball squirms through but Adrian recovers to collect before it can cross the line.

21: Half a chance as Collison shoots but doesn't make a proper connection, then collects when Cole controls the ball inside the box. He dances to the byline and crosses low, but the ball hits a Newcastle player and the visitors eventually hack clear.

18: Newcastle hunting a second. Gouffran gets free inside the box from Remy's pass and turns. His shot is charged down and Rat puts the ball out for a corner. That leads to a scramble and Noble clears off the line. Remy retrieves and crosses deep for Cabaye, whose volleyed cross hits Johnson and goes behind. Cole heads clear from inside the six-yard box and Diame is fouled.

16: Goal! Gouffran runs forward on the left level with the edge of the penalty area, squares through the legs of Noble and there is nobody near enough to Cabaye. He takes a touch and pokes a shot beyond Adrian to the goalkeeper's left. Adrian could do nothing about that.

15: Formation-wise, Remy is up front on his own for the Toon. Sissoko is wide right and Gouffran wide left. Tiote is sitting deep with Anita and Cabaye is in the centre. It's West Ham on the attack, though. First, Jarvis beats Yanga-Mbiwa and crosses into the hands of Krul, then Rat crosses and Taylor heads wide.

13: Noble's sliding tackle is successful but Newcastle nick possession through Gouffran 35 yards out. It's Remy again and he hits the target with a rising shot but it's straight at Adrian.

10: That was some ball by Sissoko. It took out the entire West Ham back four in one go, curling around the centre-halves and wrong-footing Taylor. It was very fortunate that Remy missed the target. As I type, Santon collects 30 yards out and shoots wider of the same post.

8: It's a bit scrappy until a through ball from Sissoko picks out Remy. He beats Taylor and has a fantastic chance from 12 yards. Johnson tries to make the block, but Remy's shot eludes him and just goes wide of the left-hand post. Great chance missed by the Frenchman.

5: It's good from the home side again as Downing takes on Santon on the outside and crosses at head height. Cole goes down under a challenge from Williamson, but Mr Marriner gives nothing. Jarvis collects the follow up and takes on Yanga-Mbiwa, only to force himself wide and slice the cross out for a goal kick.

4: West Ham on the attack again, and it's down the left again. Rat wins a throw, finds Cole, who feeds Jarvis. He lays off for Rat, who wins another throw.

2: Jarvis and Rat combine before Noble finds Rat in space. He crosses for Cole, but Williamson heads away from the centre of the penalty area. Collison loses out and Newcastle clear.

1: Jarvis' corner is short and cleared, but West Ham win the ball back and Jarvis has another opportunity to cross, but it's low and cut out.

13 secs: Noble plays a one-two with Diame after winning possession inside the Newcastle half and his shot is deflected wide for a corner.

3pm - We're off...

2.59pm - West Ham to kick-off through Downing and Collison, shooting towards the Sir Trevor Brooking Stand end of the Boleyn Ground.

2.56pm - Here come the two teams, led by captains Noble and Tiote. The hot question is that 'Who will play right-back?'. Well, it's going to be Matt Taylor.

2.52pm - Winston Reid is introduced to the crowd and does a quick interview during which he reveals he will return to training in the next week. Great news. We'll have a more in-depth interview with Reidy on the website soon. We've also been chatting to Guy Demel and will publish that interview shortly, too. He's also on the mend following his concussion suffered at Cardiff City last weekend.

Good afternoon and welcome to the Boleyn Ground for today's Barclays Premier League fixture between West Ham United and Newcastle United.

Managers Sam Allardyce and Alan Pardew - the last two men to get the Hammers promoted to the top flight - will both be looking to get one over their former employers. West Ham come into the game looking to make it back-to-back wins in the Premier League for the first time in nearly three years, while the Magpies will be keen to end a run of three straight league defeats.

For Big Sam, a victory will also be vital to West Ham's own survival hopes, with a much-needed 2-0 success at Cardiff City last weekend being the Club's first in eight league games. It also took the Hammers out of the bottom three.

The home side will be boosted by the presence of ex-Magpies striker Andy Carroll in a home squad for the first time since the final day of the 2012/13 season, while centre-back James Collins is also available after a calf injury. Unfortunately, captain Kevin Nolan - another former Newcastle player - is serving the final game of a four-game ban, while James Tomkins is also suspended for one match after being red carded at Cardiff. Joey O'Brien, Guy Demel, Winston Reid and Ricardo Vaz Te are injured.

For Newcastle, who were beaten 2-0 at home by Manchester City last weekend, right-back Mathieu Debuchy is suspended, while centre-back and captain Fabricio Coloccini is injured. That said, the Magpies have a strong squad, including prolific France striker Loic Remy, compatriot Yohan Cabaye and the exciting Hatem Ben Arfa and Yoan Gouffran.

West Ham have kept clean sheets in their previous three meetings with Newcastle, winning 1-0 at St James' Park in November 2012 before drawing each of the last two 0-0.

Before kick-off, the Club will be marking Holocaust Memorial Day with a special ceremony. Here are some more details:

West Ham United today continue their commitment to promote tolerance and inclusion in 2014 by marking Holocaust Memorial Day.

The Club remains committed to tackling discrimination in whatever form it takes and will be promoting events and campaigns that highlight and combat prejudice towards disability, race, sex, sexual orientation and religion throughout the year.

As well as marking Holocaust Memorial Day - which will be held this year on 27 January - at today's game, the Club will also be sending representatives to the local events in remembrance of the estimated eleven million people who were killed by the Nazis during World War Two.

Jews, homosexuals, Jehovah's Witnesses, Soviet prisoners of war, people of Roma and Sinti origin and the disabled were among those who needlessly died.

The theme of this year's Holocaust Memorial Day 'Journeys', exploring the different types of journeys experienced by people who suffered under genocide, and providing suggestions for resources and further reading.

Holocaust Memorial Day has traditionally been observed with candle lighting. Six candles are lighted to represent the six million Jewish victims of the Holocaust. Each remembrance candle is lit to represent one million victims.

Therefore, 15 minutes before kick-off this afternoon, six candles will be lit at the Boleyn Ground by West Ham United Joint-Chairman David Gold, Board member Daniel Harris, Mayor of Newham Sir Robin Wales, Westminster Synagogue Rabbi Thomas Salamon, Holocaust survivor and Olympic weightlifter Ben Helfgott and Royal British Legion East Ham branch secretary Ken Hill.

We will have today's confirmed team news at just after 2pm. In the meantime, our #WHULINEUP and #WHUGOAL competitions are running on our official Twitter page.
