Voting for Player of the Month open

Voting is open for the West Ham United Player of the Month for January.

Carlton Cole took the honours in December after notching two goals in the month - but will he take the crown again?

That is up to you, as the supporters select the winner of this award here on whufc.com

Our first nominee is goalkeeper Adrian, who kept two clean sheets in January after establishing himself in the starting XI. The Spanish stopper was on top form to help the Hammers to a 0-0 draw at Chelsea, while also shutting out the strikers in the 2-0 win at Cardiff City.

Matt Taylor also enjoyed a fine January, playing his part in the move for Carlton Cole's opener at Cardiff, and then throwing himself in the way of seven shots to help preserve the Hammers' clean sheet at Chelsea.

Another Hammer who stepped up to the plate in January was Mark Noble, who stood in as captain in Kevin Nolan's absence, and gave a real captain's display in the victory at Cardiff. He sealed the points at the death with the second goal to give the Hammers fans a happy journey home from Wales.

Our final nominee for January is last month's winner Carlton Cole. The No24 notched two more goals to take his season's tally to five, scoring the opener at Cardiff, then adding to his tally with the Hammers' goal in their 3-1 home defeat by Newcastle United.
